Description:
De Hoop Foxhol yard, Foxhol, Netherlands. Bridge sections and other structures for two unknown newbuilds. They look similar to the offshore vessels completed earlier by this yard. Does anyone have a clue?

So that explains one deckhouse. Let's wait and see if an order for a sister ship comes! :-)

As far as I know, the Seamar vessel will be built at the main yard of De Hoop, at Lobith, not in Foxhol. Of course it could be that the yard is building some sections for the Seamar ship. And, it still does not explain the second bridge structure sitting on the dock. Maybe the Seamar ship will get a sister?

I read in Piet Sinke's newsclippings that DeepOcean B.V. has entered into a 5 year charter of a new-build Subsea Support vessel, to be named DEEP HELDER, from SeaMar Subsea B.V. This vessel will be built at this yard and be delivered in June 2014.

Holger
