Apart of primarily being a training ship of the Yugoslav navy, GALEB was also used as a presidential yacht by President Tito for a number of trips and was called ... and is still known as the ... SHIP OF PEACE.
Tito's first trip abroad by GALEB was to UK for a visit to Churchill.
He sailed with GALEB to Italy, Malta, .......
The most known are Tito's non-alliance voyages to Egypt and India.

This story & explanation would require a very long time & much paper, but I hope to have briefly clarified your query Emmanuel.
Kind regards /Jadran
