Tanker at Kaohsiung breakers yard 2nd Oct 89
This is the Malta-registered GALATIA, which arrived at Kaohsiung 23.5.1988 for breaking. I don't know what happened, but she was observed there in 1/1990, breaking still not commenced. In 1992 she was reported broken up. She was built 1964 at Eriksbergs, Göteborg as AUSTANGER for the Westfal-Larsen company of Bergen, Norway. Sold to Vietnam in 1975, she became CUU LONG 02, before becoming GALATIA early in 1988.

She was built 1964 at Eriksbergs,Göteborg as AUSTANGER for the Westfal-Larsen-company of Bergen,Norway. Sold to Vietnam in 1975, she became CUU LONG 02,before becoming GALATIA early in 1988.
