Description:

Passing Spirit class ferries in Active Pass, between Mayne & Galiano Islands in British Columbia's Georgia Strait - 6 June 2011. The nearer vessel is the Spirit of British Columbia, with its sister, the Spirit of Vancouver Island (IMO 9030682) in the distance. The vessels are half way between the mainland terminal at Tsawwassen (Vancouver) and Swartz Bay (Vancouver Island near the city of Victoria). Each vessel has a vehicle capacity of 410 North American auto equivalents and 2100 passengers/crew.
