:-)) No Theo, she doesn't. She's like a Mercedes and has got a built-in right of way!

Do you happen to be at Brunswick, Georgia, right now? If so, please watch out for a ship called "Somers Isles" (anchored about 10 miles off Cumberland Island 32 hours ago). Would love to see some photos of her...:-)

Jens
does it need a AMPEL ? :-)

Cornelia, thank you! I think you know my penchant for cruise ships and vintage transatlantic liners. So far I've seen no ugly one, be it old or epic... new, I mean.:-)) (Next time you should sue your kidnappers for letting you pay your coffee and cake yourself!)

Frank, ich danke dir. I really never would have guessed this photo would become so popular!:-)

Jimmy, what can I say except thank you... Well, I'm envious. I would love to exchange my place on the river's bank with a cabin aboard anytime. Have fun in September (and bring back a lot of photos).

tvtech, thanks a lot, I really feel honored by your comment, but (speaking for myself) that's too much praise. I'm just an amateur with a camera...

Again my sincere thanks to all of you for your nice comments!
Cheers, Jens

Stunning shot Jens

I am so jealous/envious of your mastery of the photographic art of capturing perfect shots of moving mammoths.

Applies to all active Shipspotters out there.

Keep them coming guys.

Bregards,
tvtech

Great photo of my favourite ship, Jens. Back on board in September for my fourth cruise on her - can't wait!

No matter what some certain folks might say Jens - it's a great photo and the ship is a great sight and - was a great evening with me getting kidnapped to Stadersand :-) For me as well, first time I saw this ship.

Wunderbar Jens, i like the way the bulbous bow easily slice the water in front of that big Lady on it's way to France
Greetings, Robert08
