Thanks for the link Steve, I am aware of it and are starting to put copyright on my pictures but it is a poor solution for they are still stolen, the problem is probably not so big for us amateurs but it is a disaster for the professionals.

Best Regards
Bendt

HI Bendt, Yes I noticed on the other photo....such waste eh?!
By the way: Check this out: http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/49422. It refers to the legalised theft of phtos found on the Internet.I don't suppose you can sign the petition, (Being Non-Uk/British) but perhaps you could bring it to the attention of others who can. It is indeed dangerous new legislation being sneaked in via the back-door. The article is in the News Forum on Ship Spotting.
Kind regards,
Steve.

Hi Steve, it lay there as the ship came, there was otherwise enough to cut if one would, among other things, three fine dell monitors with extra USB connection :-)))

Bendt

Hi Bendt, the price of progress indeed.
Which immediately makes me think of this collision & this link which I have copied from the forum :-
http://www.dmaib.dk/SiteCollectionDocuments/Rapporter/SPRING_GLORY_JOSEPHINE_MAERSK_2012.pdf

It is a good and interesting read. Ships fitted with the latest and best navigation and radar equipment on the bridge- but not used!
P.S. I was joking about the microwave..... ;-)

Hi Rick, yes it has guaranteed been more simple when it was built, the whole control process are now gathered on the right side of the wheelhouse but as you can see in the second picture is the rudder and compass in the middle. (it's not a microwave but an old monitor :-)))

Best Regards
Bendt

Denis, Bendt...this was my first impression too: obviously. The price of progress eh? It would be interesting to see the same view in the wheelhouse when the ship was new. there's even a microwave in the left foreground..... LOL ;-)

Hi Denis, yes it was a bit of a mishmash with screens and wires everywhere on a very narrow space, not just a pretty sight.

Best Regards
Bendt

How could anyone work or at least see something in such conditions?
