Royal Mail Lines' 1943 Harland & Wolff, Belfast, built DARRO sailing from London for the last time, on Sunday 30th July 1967.

DARRO sailed from Rotterdam on 13th August 1967 as SURREY, owned by Rethymnis & Kulukundis, bound for Whampoa via Durban (sailed 11th September) and then breakers at Kaohsiung, arriving there in December 1967. Initial reports had been that she had been sold to Japanese breakers.
