Thanks Kyle,
I had it still posted as "tugs" but admin changed this to "scrapyard ships."
Indeed the vessel's old engine was removed but at least the hull will be re-used. I am not sure about superstructure though.

Built 1945 by Everett-Pacific Shipbuilding in Everett, WA as YTL-563 for the US Navy. Sold in 1946 as RUBY XII, later JAMES B and GREGORY H. 70 tons, 61 feet in length.

While scrapping is certainly a possibility, there's a chance she could just be undergoing an engine or superstructure replacement.
