Wow. I just googled "swash hull" and came up with an almost 40-year-old US Navy document about the concept!

Also not all Pilots satisfied with this experimental pilot boat, and Pilot change (at Brunsbuttel) takes more time if compare with traditional style boats and double-hull boats mostly due to manouevring

I wonder do the side hulls have foils or underwater hulls too? If not, I don't know how they provide stability when turning.

It is not a SWATH, It is a SWASH: Small Waterplane Area Single Hull. Looks like it is designed to make a SWATH look pretty.
