Description:

SCHARHORN was built at Cuxhaven,Germany in 1907, for the Elbe River Authority as the Hamburg state yacht.She was steamed to the UK in 1976 where she became semi-derelict until bought and taken to Maryport to undergo restoration. She is now back in Germany as the Schaarhorn and based at Hamburg. Photo taken February 1990.

Yes youa are right. She is now named Schaarhörn and is an activ museum ship at Hamburg.
I took her last year in teh river Elbe.
