Description:

Classic wooden yacht originally built in 1941 as USC&GS PATTON (ASV-80), a survey ship for the US Coast and Geodetic Survey until retired in 1967. Her sister, USC&GS LESTER JONES (ASV-79) also still exists as the yacht SUMMER WIND.

Seen moored along the waterfront of the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, not far from where she was originally built.
