Bulk carriers at the EMO-Mississippihaven, and also those at the EECV-Caland canal are always unloaded, never loaded, as their cargos of iron ore or coal are destined for Germany.

Her arrival draft in Rotterdam was 22.05m even keel, total waterdisplacement was 427673 tons (ship's figures). She was not loaded to the max (= 23m).

I took this picture from the navigation deck on the m.v. RIZE which I piloted outward to sea. Vale Rio arrived earlier that day and was about to start discharging.
