Hi Simon, thanks for the confirmation that you were the photographer - it would be good to see more of your work. The few Rotterdam slides in the "job lot" taken in April 1984 stood out as being by far the best. It was good that you enjoyed the time there and that your photography did the weather and ships justice. Best regards. Malcolm

Hi Malcolm

I exchanged a few slides in 1984 with Brian Todd who photographed mainly around the port of Hull. April 1984 was my first, and best, trip to the Waterway, sun from dawn to dusk during the second week and a POL general cargo almost every day.

best regards

many thanks Simon. I was hoping that someone would identify the original photographer of a "job lot" of slides which came my way a few months ago. They appear to have been taken by someone living on Humberside. Does this information clarify the photographer please?

best regards. Malcolm Cranfield

Thanks for posting this. Photographer (and of SAXON STAR and POCANTICO) was either Keith Whillock, the late Rowley Weekes or me, on the last day of a brilliant 2 weeks on the Nieuwe Waterweg.
