So Jadran,she could raise and carry most of the modern cruise liners now afloat.Who would have imagined such heavy lifters 10 or 20 years ago.

Hi Emmanuel,, a response to your query: DOKWISE VANGUARD is the largest vessel of its type ever built and is able to carry lifts up to 117,000 tons; :-)

Ugly she may be ,but she is a working lady of the seas and not competing in any beauty contest. I wonder what is the maximum tonnage she could lift.

Ugly: perhaps, but definitely spectacular and an amzing engineering feat!
Note that the flag information from Grosstonnage is strictly speaking not correct. She is registered in Curaçao, which is a independent country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands (fellow Dutch members, correct me if I did not write that down completely correctly, it's complicated). Curaçao also has its own flag nowadays.
