Swire Shipping's new build Shantung arriving into the Port of Auckland on it's maiden voyage. Here it is being turned and then backed into the eastern side of Jellicoe Wharf. This is the second of the series of 8 vessels of the multi purpose container vessel 31,000 Dwt class built by Zhejiang Ouhua Shipbuilding, Zhoushan, China for the China Navigation Company, a division of the Swire Group. These are all to be used in the trade lane to New Zealand from Asia.
