Mysterious... Recently I did a check on Klaipeda in GoogleMaps (2016 imagery) & didn't find anything that looked like the NESCO REEFER from above. Left? She's one of my favourite ships, having seen her in 2000 & 2006 in my hometown, so of course I'm very curious about her status/position.

Good question, Denis. And the following doesn't really answer it!

Arrived Klaipeda as NESCO REEFER 21/6/2009 and laid up. There are several 2009 pics on site, last dated 4/8/2009.

It seems that Klaipeda Ship Repair had claims for unpaid work done on NESCO REEFER, but that this became part of the the liquidation of registered owner Nescofish Ltd, Aberdeen which began about 2010. Nescofish was finally wound up in 6/2011.

Subsequently reported that the vessel was sold to unknown owners 2/2011, and St Vincent registration closed. Susequently listed as renamed SERVIS in 2012 - not sure about the reflagging to Malta claimed by some sources. Also unconfirmed reports that SERVIS left Klaipeda 21/8/2013.

MarineTraffic has some later photos up to 1/2011 and suggests that SERVIS left Klaipeda 19/8/2015, destination unknown, but then also shows her as still there 25/8/2016 with an AIS signal from a block of flats!

Is she still sailing or laid up in Klaipeda or scrapped?
