BALTIC NEWS arrived from Ølen in Norway at the 26-07-2013 in tow after HUNTER IMO: 9468372 assisted by LUNA A IMO: 7522150 to Fornaes Shipbreaking Ltd Grenaa / Denmark for scrapping ... She arrived without screw which was lost during a grounding.

@ Steffen, Grenaa harbour is half full of scrap ships waiting to come up, the new slipway and cut area has been about three months under way so there is enough to start with.

@ Jens, yes I think the grounding was the reason as there was also caused damage to internal engine parts.

Should have been renamed "Bad News" for her last trip... At first sight she seems to be in pretty good shape. Is the grounding the reason for the scrapping?
