Description:
The Liberty ship AZUERO, built at Panama City in 1944 as JAMES H. KIMBALL and purchased by S.G.Embiricos in 1947, was photographed passing Portishead, outbound from Avonmouth, on the early morning of 23rd February 1966.
AZUERO was wrecked at the River Gironde entrance on 24.12.68 during a loaded voyage from Recife to Bordeaux with a cargo of bagged sugar
