Description:

Charles Connell of Glasgow had in 1959 built BROOMPARK for Denholm. Sold in 1968 to Greek operators, she traded as ANASTASIA until resold in 1980 to Gulf Shipping Lines.
Renamed EASTERN MARINER 1 she suffered weather damage on 13.2.81, sinking off Bermuda three days later, on a loaded voyage from Tampa to Chittagong with bagged phosphate.

Here she is seen as ANASTASIA making her way out of Liverpool docks on 13th April 1976 bound for Dunkirk after discharging a cargo of bulk sugar cane from Mauritius.
