Thanks Bjorn for the link, but it seems that this link has the name wrong ,she is listed as the IBN HARISSA when on her stern her actual name IBN HARITHA can be clearly seen (see my other photos )

Thanks Jadran, yes the Libyan navy seems to have a problem with keeping a date, the local 'yards have been on the receiving end of this practice as it seems other dockyards as you can attest to it yourself.

Both IBN HARITHA & IBN OUF were built at a French shipyard on the Med (sorry, but I can not recall at this moment the name of that Shipyard).

Just to tell you Emmanuel,, these delays with the Libyan navy ships always happen,, and the delays are regularly long, very long .................
IBN OUF was delayed for more than 3 years to come to Croatia and VLS for drydocking/repairs & extensive refurbishment (finally this ship finished, at some time even later, at Trogir Shipyard, also Croatia,, after VLS refused to wait anymore).

Hi,Jadran ,do you know where she was built.According to my information she was due in Malta about a month ago, maybe due to the still the situation in Libya is still a bit unsettled she delayed her sailing.

She is one of the rare larger ships of the Lybian Navy to have survived the coalition aerial attack of May 2011.
