And a fine vessel indeed, why in heavens did Sitmar possibly think that steam driven engines where appropriate?!!!

looks like the decision of Sitmar to go with steam turbines has resulted in an early disposal for this fine vessel! mrdot.

O.M.G.!!! This is a very sad picture, two fantastic ships at theyr end, particularly the Pacific Pricess, "First Lady" in the fortunate serial tv "LOVEBOAT", nooo, I can't believe a so sad end...

Sad ending to a cruise ship that was a regular in NZ over the summer years ago. She was one of the first cruise vessels i ever photographed and called here under 2 of her names.
