Yes Shaun, you are right, the DANA ANGLIA takes the prize.I think these overlarge funnels mars a good design, such a pity.

This ship also starred as the love boat as Island princess If you want to see a funnel too large for the ship the I suggest you look at images of dfds sea ways Dana Anglia

Hi Sulzer_54, I remember that TV comedy quite well, they used to tell me that I resembled the captain of the Love Boat.well at least the resemblence is not of Captain Scettino of COSTA CONCORDIA fame.

Oh look, the sister of the "LOVE BOAT" (the PRINCESS...) now at the scrapyard :-(((((

Hi Fergal,if only her funnel would have been the half of what it is she would have looked much more great, and the funnel being sited aback would make no difference to funnel smoke deviated on to the deck.

I agree, its a shame about the funnel. she has such an elegant shape otherwise

I find her funnel is a bit too large for her size.but not withstanding this she still looks great bearing in mind that she is 32 years old.

Wonderful site in your grand harbour, as I look at her one time sister on her side at a far off scrapyard! this pair were among my favourite Princess visitors to Vancouver! mrdot.
