If I had to judge the dimensions by eye I would say yes, you're probably right. But I have no specific information about this.

In this case, Concordia will be placed transversely then, I guess ?

I've just learned from a usually reliable source that this vessel will mostly likely be contracted to remove the hulk of Costa Concordia, once the latter has been completely refloated.
