This reminds me of Neustadt/Holstein (Germany) in the late 90's when converted old russian trawlers which looked like aircraft carriers sailed from there to russia and the baltic states. They were packed with cars to their smokestacks and the cars were packed with refridgerators which were packed with other electronics. I will look after the pictures tomorrow ...
