Most of them were built by Gdynia Shipyard and 1 in Gdansk. Some hulls were subcontracted in Portugal.
This second group had many improvements and modifications: again redesigned superstructure layout;
Stulcken derrick added; hydraulically operated multi-folding hatch covers; radar mast integrated with funnel.
