A classy look back to when CSL ran some good looking vessels! in the days before hon. Paul Martin! mrdot.

I did a short cruise on her, back in 1965, her last season of operation. It was from Montreal to Sorel. Cost: only 5$ including a meal! At that time, I was not collecting photos of ships yet including postcards.

Really great photo and a wonderful ship! :) it`s sad that she was scrapped after so many years in service... :(

In the 50's peoples would gather on the bank of the Saint-Laurent river near Montréal to watch the passage of " les bateaux blancs " , one for everay day of the week, Tadoussac, Sorel, Québec, Richelieu, St-Laurent ....
