Mike, I got her in B&W probably some days later when she went out again. Fortunately we have the computer these days to adjust the lighting of the images, and that is what I did to your shot. (call it photoshop if you want, but it does help sometimes)

It was the last photo of the day taken at radar post 8 - with the light going fast! Fine looking Dutch built freighter driven by four 12-cyl Schelde-Sulzer diesel -5500bhp, 15knots.

It is a perfect shot and (at least on my screen) it benefited substantially from lowering the exposure and reducing the contrast a little.

Very interesting looking freighter & what a nice quality photo overall!
