Description:

27.11.2013 - the "Amazon Warrior" the frist of two seismic vessels on order from Western Geco an UK company at the Flensburger Shipyard.
Normally the vessels hull are painted before launch but at the end of October we had one of the worst storm ever in this area. The wind was more as 190km/h and part of the roof shipsbuilding hall was blown away, so no painting was made during this time and days later. But they are sure everything will be finished in time

Indeed Andreas, FSG has prospered by entering new markets and that is a great achievement!
By the way, the IMO number of this vessel is 9662394.

Hello rd77

Yes you are correct. They build in the past such nice looking vessels but they will not find any demand anymore in this century I am sure you know as well the kind of ships which I mean.
But is nice to have such a Shipyard in Germany which is up to now still on the market for building ships and I hope they will have some new orders soon even the vessels will be ugly but most properly they will be interesting ships

best regards
Andreas

I applaud FSG for gaining such an order (seismic vessels have huge added value), but it sure isn't the best looking vessel they've ever built!
