To Mr.Chow: Containers are not secured in an horizontal pattern. Then it does not matter if they are stowed in a single stack or in multiple stacks. Multiple stacks would not guard against the accelerating and tremendous forces when in a rolling motion by the vessel carrying those objects: the law: F=MA will always prevails...
