Hello Emmesstee. I'm pleased you enjoyed looking at the shot as much as I enjoyed taking it. And thanks for the information.

Super shot Clyde, thank you so much! My wife and I were on board having done the relocation voyage from Singapore, the ship is nicely appointed and quite elegant in her public spaces. She's apparently "down-under" until February, then returns to Singapore for a docking and some interior refurbishment, the casino is being relocated on board and new cabins fitted in its place - something said about her being made more suitable for the Japanese market.

That's a nice way to start my day. Thank you all.

I wish more cruise ships would arrive in daylight instead of before dawn.

The jets engines help her to reach 'warp' speed. A pity that she had no 'spoiler' like her sisters. Would make the space ship appearence complete.

Great angle for this shot Clyde!

Thanks Tony and Roar. The summer day and my favourite rock helped.

@Roar. A cruise review site states "trademark funnel, which sported two side-mounted pods that most people likened to jet engines. They really served no purpose, other than to tell the world about a unique power plant inside—a hybrid system of diesel-electric and gas-turbine propulsion designed to run cleaner in the pristine environments where the ships operate, such as Alaska."

Nice picture indeed. I wonder what the two round things
on each side of the funnel is?
