Description:

THOMSON CELEBRATION leaving Hamburg for Tenerife (according to her AIS-signal) after aprrox. four weeks in Blohm & Voss dry dock, seen from Rüschpark, 13.12.2013

While I am writing this she's passing Stade on the river Elbe. She left Hamburg under assistance of tugs Bugsier 21 and Bugsier 9 and is still being assisted by them. She's traveling at 5 to 7 knots.

Can anyone tell why she has tug assistance all the way down the Elbe?

Hi ventuari, I hope she'll make a stop at Gran Canaria, too. I guess she'll pick up her first passengers at Tenerife after dry dock.
