Description:

New build tanker in No.7 Dry-dock Southampton loading fresh water for Gibraltar. Built by Rheinstahl Nordseewerke, Emden she was launched as P.C.1, but delivered to Theodor Mengdehl & Co. as Amisia on 26 July 1972. Miramar suggests some report her completed January 1973 but this is incorrect as my photo was taken 24 August 1972. Within a year she was sold to Indonesian operators and renamed Sally 1. Probably now broken up, but no records of her demise and no photos on site.
