Description:

WEST THURROCK

This photograph was sent to me by my Nephew and I though I would like to share it with you because it shows the terminal from a very different and unusual aspect.
It was taken from the top deck of an RT bus crossing the QE2 Bridge.
The ships are Amalienborg IMO 9261657 and CPO Germany IMO 9353096
In the distance is Greenhithe.

The Garden of England -Kent, a very apt name for this wonderful part of the UK,Had a wonderful holiday there way back in the 70s.I remember the beautiful countryside and I am sorry to hear that it is being spoiled by the "progress" of modern living.BTWlooks like another budding photographer from the Smith clan. Thanks Ken for sharing with us.

Thank you for your comment Jadran, I am pleased that you like the view of the Kentish countryside, it is known as the Garden of England but is rather spoiled these days with motorways and trunk roads which sadly are essential in this modern world, but you will still find many very lovely villages.
Regards
Ken

Good pictures
A view I only usually see out of the corner of my eye when I cross the bridge coming to see you, and then not as sharp.

Derek
