A stopover from her return leg from Brasil to Beirut, Lebanon where she is serving as part of the UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon).
Due to re-take her role there in January 2014.

Built by Vosper Thorneycroft, Southampton, England.
Keel laid in 1975, launched 7 February 1977 & commissioned on 18 November 1978.
One of seven ships in the Niterói Frigate class. Four built in England and three in Brasil.

Looking a little lost amongst the gigantic cruise ships; normally she would have been berthed at the nearby Arsenal, the Spanish Armada's Naval base, but this was already filled with Spanish vessels, & the German sail training ship 'Georg Foch'
