Newport News built R2-ST-AU1 standard reefer, delivered as Heredia on 19:03:1947 to United Fruit Co. Transferred to the Dutch Caraibische Scheepv. Maats. n.v. in 1970 and renamed Tanamo. Broken up by H.P Heuvelman b.v.,Krimpen a/d IJssel during 1976.

I have a question. Was Caraibische owned by United Fruit but managed by Nievelt & Goudriaan? Also in this respect were the German companies Midgard & also Union Handels/Scipio subject to a similar arrangement? Hope you can help me with this.
