@Ventuari: thank you, yes I was really lucky to catch her.
@davidships & rd77: seems I was right in guessing use as accommodation vessel then....
Regards, Max

She has been sold to unknown interests with Fleetpro (former ISP Miami) acting as managers. Upon arrival at Lerwick, she will commence a charter of at least six months as an accomodation vessel for workers on the Shetland Gas Plant Prioject:

Just so long as she does come in contact with the breakers torch. We are losing too many classic passenger ships. The Ocean Countess recently suffered a large fire and I doubt she will return to service.

Hi Max. Nice and interesting shots series of ex-Kristina Katarina with the new name. Short story: Partanen family, owners of Kristina Cruises need to sell the vessel to avoid bankruptcy. The new owners, a US company based in Miami Fla. All the Kristina Katarina crew lost their jobs. Kristina Cruises still thinking to follow in the cruise business ( and may be river cruises too).

Hi, I didn't knew either, until it was kind of happening right under my eyes. Although it is not that apparent on my pictures, the sea was actually quite rough that evening, and immediately after turning beyond the protective harbour walls, the old ship fairly punched itself through the swell. Unfortunately, it was growing dark and she was too far away by then, so the stormier pictures are probably not good enough for the site... Fitting for the moment, though, who knows, might well be a final voyage. Otherwise I would suspect use as accomodation ship. Gambling cruises might be another possibility, I guess. Regards, Max

I didn't know that Kristina cruises sold Kristina Katrina. Could anyone shed light on her new career?
