Gen.cargo ship BALLYGARVEY passes Eastham Ferry on the Mersey heading for Eastham Locks and entry to the Manchester Ship Canal on July 25th,1990.Ballygarvey at the time was carrying a cargo of coal and owned by John Kelly Ltd.she became in turn the Hope, the Shoreham and sails now as Sea Eagle.Built in 1982 she displaces 1,785gt and is owned by Firth Shipping Co.Ltd sailing under the Barbados flag.
