It takes 5 minutes if you can get the boat into position, hooked on etc., then you'll probably spend longer trying to position it correctly in the launching cradle.

It's not that hard. you can lower it this way and retrieve it same way. it lasts app 5 min.

Fascinating. I always wondered how they managed to retrieve the lifeboat. How long does the procedure take to mount it back into it's dive position ?
