The first "huge" ferry I ever sailed on. She was then Travemunde Link and some kind of rattly thing, but I enjoyed every minute - no wonder, I was only 13 ;-)
I especially remember the very very sweet chocolates GT Link sold in the souvenir shop - too much sugar even for me. The day cruise to Gedser cost only 10 DMarks back in 1989 and despite the stormy weather on the way north, I had the greatest time. It's a little sad to see her in pieces on a Turkish beach now.
