Once named Hussar and owned by the US financier E.F. Hutton, Mandalay has lead a colourful life. She spent many years sailing for Windjammer Barefoot cruises until the collapse of that company. She sailed briefly around the Galapagos before being acquired by her current owners and now she sails for Sail Windjammer. She has a devoted following (of which I am now one, having just spent 12 days aboard her - it was the best time of my life, so far). She is shown here off the famous Pitons of St Lucia.
