Now heading for Alang with new name OTSE for demolition, her Eta is 01/03-2014. Two of her sisters MAERSK DELMONT now SEZZE (9103037) and MAERSK DELANO now REPTON (9080613) has also been sold for demoilition at Alang. They all changed name this month (02/2014).

@ REG..Yeah that is right what you say. I think the merger with P&O didn't go as well as they hoped..From what I understand. some customers who were using Maersk Line and P&o when both were independent ; they did not want to continue as customers when they merged..So the merged group had a smaller market share than what was anticipated and was smaller than the sum of the parts.
Also I guess P&O Nedlloyd was bigger than Sealand was, I would guess. in terms of number of ships.

Some have said that second only to the merger of Daimler Chrysler Auto companies; that the Merger of P&O ans Maersk was the worse handled business tie up in history

It's surprising that she's still going around painted black. When Maersk took over Sealand, in 2000, the very first thing they did was to paint everything in sight, ships, cranes, vehicles, buildings, etc., blue.
