Description:

Ex 'Countess of Breadalbane', Built 1936 Wm Denny, Dumbarton. Started life on freshwater Loch Awe before being transported to the salt of the River Clyde in 1952. After 30 years on the Clyde lifted by Finnieston Crane, Glasgow (as seen here) and transported to Loch Lomond as 'Countess Fiona'. Finally scrapped 1999. Scanned from 35mm transparency

She ended her life ashore on Loch Lomond by the local council and left to the vandals too do their demon stuff but I call it 'corporate vandalism' just because they could afford to keep her in operation. They could have put her in static lay-up in a safe place.
