Equasis realise they are not always correct;that's why they have the option online to report an error. Maybe just a typo etc.

Ken, the only problem is that lots of people copy from Equasis ;-)

It does appear to be a problem name, Maritime Connector -Marine Traffic-Fleetmon-Vesselfinder have the name spelled as United Kalavrvta.
Q88,com have it as Kalavryta
Regards
Ken

Equasis is incorrect. The Name is United Kalavryta, as it appears on official class, registry and chartering documents. It's not even a cyrillic translation issue as the ship is owned by Marine Management (George Callimanopulos, Greece)having been sold by Sovcomflot.

There seems to be a problem with the name of this ship. It may have been caused by a mis-transliteration from the Cyrillic. The American Bureau of Shipping gives the name as "United Kalavryta". DNV Exchange also lists her under that name. Equasis has the unpronounceable "United Kalavrvta", while Miramar still has her listed under her previous name (SCF Byrranga).
