Built by Nederlandsche Dok & SB Co. for Van, Nievelt & Goudriaan as ALBIREO - keel laid 1.4.43

launched 15.7.44 as FRANKENFELS - used as a blockship on the North Sea Canal and damaged

repaired and delivered 19.6.48 as ALBIREO

as PROCYON (1963 to 1966) she was German flag - photographed at Montreal by Wm. Schell in 1966 - scanned from a negative in my collection

sold 1966 to the "London Greek" John Polemis and renamed MINOUTSI, replacing his NOUTSI (ex EARLSCOURT PARK) which grounded near Constantza on 28.3.65 and was a total loss

after a long period of lay up at Piraeus from 5.3.77, as LASIA she only made a single voyage from Piraeus via Basrah, arriving at Kaohsiung on 28.3.80 to be broken up
