Thanks for the info Clyde, I used to work in the Stevedoring industry and was going by the tonnage, but seems your car ship is bigger, so many changes in shipping over the last 14 years since I left Sydney

Thanks again Ian. Real life has now caught up with paper work. This morning the transom shows Seamaster IV Valetta. I will leave my description as of the captured date

Hi omniron. Sydney Ports web site shows her departing for Singapore 0700 hrs 22 March 2014. From across the bay I could see no sign of activity.

Some vehicle carriers who used to discharge there may may have been bigger.

Hi Clyde, do you know why she is laid up at Glebe Island ? she would have to be the largest vessel to ever berth at GIT
