Description:

M. Primera Pontoon with heavy machine on deck, while under tow by PICACHO tugboat, capsized due to heavy weather just 1 mile out from Santa Cruz de La Palma port ( March 10, 2014, aprox. 0430 hours) Keep it afloat and with the towline secure, they move it far out, finally sunk, aprox. 2100 hours March 10.
Sorry for the quality but really far out for my 300 mms. zoom.

Hi Manuel. Thanks for your kind comments. Old one but still active and surviving. The night of the heavy weather Picacho was a real warrior.
MBregards from La Palma.

Hi Sander. Thanks for your comment. Anyway, agree with you that tables with high heavy load on deck, and with some wind, will rock like hell. Table destination was to dredge and transport sand for a new beach in Santa Cruz de La Palma and capsized-sunk just a couple of miles before arrival ( coming from Las Palmas, Gran Canaria island) .
MBregards.
