Very interesting photograph.

Early 50's and outer Elbe? It must be some sort of mopping up salvage after the war. On the cargo ship we can see a flak-gun on the aft, and there is also two gun turrets just aft of the funnel. Interesting picture of something that hopefully is history in Europe :-)

Any more information regarding the ship involved??
