DUCHESSE ANNE does not belong to the "Ancient Motor Vessels" folder, she never had an engine. She is a real ship rigged sailing vessel according to the old terms, she definitely belongs to the "Tall ships" folder.

She is the DUCHESSE ANNE ex GROSSHERZOGIN ELISABETH,
built 1901 by J.C. Tecklenborg in Geestemünde (today Bremerhaven).
1901 - 1939 owned by Deutscher Schulschiff-Verein, Oldenburg,
1939 - 1945 owned by Deutsche Seemannsschule, Hamburg,
1945 - 1982 DUCHESSE ANNE owned by the French Navy, Brest (stationary),
since 1982 owned by the National Maritime Museum / City of Dunkirk

Best regards,
Werner Jurkowski

This ship is NOT "Dar Mlodziezy". I am sure bacause I can see her almost every day as it is usually berthed in Gdynia and Dar looks totally different. Please check photos on listed pages:
