«Hrvatska» is the second vessel from the series of three. The suezmax size crude oil carrier(166.447DWT) «Hrvatska», the Hull 434, was launched on 23th of December 2004. in Brodosplit Shipyard – BIS, Split, Croatia. Keel was puted on a slipway 06.June 2004.
Sister ships: «Alan Veliki»(built 2004.), «Hrvatska» and «Donat»(just now she is building in the shipyard) – owner Tankerska plovidba d.d. Zadar, Croatia.
It is very intersting to note that these vessels will be the biggest ever built in Croatian shipyards in ONE PIECE, and the biggest suezmax tankers in the world.
The main characteristic of the these three ships are: length 281.20 m, breadth 48.20 m, depth 23.00 m, draught 17.10/16.00 m, main engine Split MAN B&W 16.800 kW, service speed 14 and max 15.8 knots.
Delivery was on 9th of June 2005., and «Hrvatska» leaved the shipyard basin on 13th of June 2005., and first voyage did between the ports of Sidi Kerrir(Egipat) and Trieste for Austria oil company OMV. After several voyages between ports of the Mediterraanean Sea in August 2005. Stena Bulk took vessel in the time charter on 1 year, and now she is mainly sailing between West coast of Africa(Angola, Kamerun,Nigeria) and USA(Philadelphia).
