Description:

Truly magnificent, the former Transvaal Castle departing Southampton on another voyage to South Africa. I'd just spent a couple of very alcoholic hours on board seeing friends off.

A great record of real ships, and just a few years before the liner era ended forever.
One of her few negative points was the use of steel decks throughout, rather than teak.

Union Castle ships were all great looking vessels, and so is this one Clive.

Always a good looking vessel, but I think she looked best as first built in the Union Castle livery! mrdot.
